  The great test

When the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH & HP) was commanded by Allah to invite his close relatives to Islam, three years after his Proclamation of the commencement of his mission on earth at Yawm-O-Ddaar, as also confirmed by the Sunni in some of their books such as the Taarikh of Tabari, the Prophet (PBUHHP) said:

Surely, this (ALI -PBUH-) is my brother, and my Executor, and my Khaliphah (Successor) among you; so hearken him and obey him … .

It is very significant to mention that Hadrat Ali (PBUH) at that time was only about twelve years old; some feeble-minded people who had not yet obviously comprehended or better said, had not wished to comprehend the truth regarding the Chosen Ones, out of jealousy and arrogance and …, mocked at Hadrat AbuTaaleb -Hadrat Ali's father (PBUT)- because he was actually commanded to obey his very young son; but Hadrat AbuTaaleb being a true Believer knew that Divinely bestowed positions had nothing to do to one's age -such as Hadrat 'Eesa (PBUH) who was bestowed Prophethood on earth at birth-.

Acceptance of Hadrat Ali's (PBUH) Divinely bestowed position at such young age, was a vital test which many failed; similarly was the acknowledgement of Imam Jawaad's and Imam Haadi's (PBUT) Imamat which commenced at very young ages; what an important test of obedience, submission, trust and humbleness before the Omnipotent Allah!

We humbly remember the AhlulBayt (PBUT) as the masters of Allah's creations, and we renew the vow of obedience, in today's world which selfishness seems to have become the order of the day; perhaps today more than ever we must behave in the manner desired by Allah -as taught by the Chosen Ones-, and not as desired by most of the humankind, so that we may be kept safe in this world and the Hereafter, and we may also help others to achieve safety; yes, still learning the best way of life through obedience to the best creations of Allah, is the only key to Everlasting Salvation as it has always been … .

In a priceless word, the young and yet with Divinely bestowed Knowledge, Imam Jawaad (PBUH) has reminded us that in order to be successful in any deed, a believer needs three things: the successful opportunity from Allah, an advisor from within his/her soul, and the acceptance of advices of those who offer advices. I.e. a Believer should not ever forget that every thing is from Allah, and must always listen to his awake Fetrat and Fetrat-guided conscience, and at the same time must humbly, intelligently and with awareness listen to advisors who are from Allah (the AhlulBayt (PBUT) being the most perfect of such advisors), and then decide and act with Allah's help, and ultimately be please with Allah's benevolent Will.

O' the most Compassionate Allah! We implore you to hasten the Appearance of Your beloved Mahdi (PBUH), he who commenced his Imamat at age of five, and whose title "Mahdi" means the Guided-One; may we be blessed with acceptance of his Guided advices, before and after his Emergence … .
