The ninth descendant of Imam Hossain (PBUT)

 The prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) has said:

... and Mahdy is the ninth Imam from Hossain's descendants.

(Kefaayat-Ol-Athar, ...)

The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) many times prophesied about the Promised Mahdy. He emphasized on the point that Mahdy would be the ninth immediate descendant of his grandson Imam Hossain. The Prophet and his God-chosen Successors clearly presented many facts about Mahdy's particulars. In other words Mahdy's father, mother, date of birth, Disappearance, Appearance and ... have not been unknown ever since the Prophet and his Progeny (PBUT) have revealed the facts about him. Therefore, no one other than the real Mahdy can claim to be Mahdy; because for instance any one claiming to be Mahdy today while being born from a known father and mother of this time, obviously is lying. Sadly, throughout history some people, for worldly purposes, have disregarded the rightfulness of Mohammad's Progeny and thus, distorted the Prophet's sayings in order to hide his Progeny's exalted position and as a result, while they have confessed that Mahdy would be a descendant of Hazrat Fatimah -daughter of the Prophet- and he would come, but they have concealed the exact identity of Mahdy.

Therefore, these distorted statements have paved the way for fake Mahdies in history. These fake Mahdies have always lied and claimed that they have risen against oppressions while in fact they have created much injustice themselves and broken human rights in the name of Islam! All of these stem from distorted and concealed information. If people of the world had taken and take the time to research and discover the truth about the real Mahdy- the Savior of humankind- and his Appearance and about the second coming of Jesus and return of other Prophets and Imams (PBUT) followed by Mahdy's Emergence, then they would and will have never fallen for fake Mahdies.

These fake Mahdies and the false images which they have presented, have created a distorted image of the real Mahdy and the True Islam. It is so vital that we do not guess about Mahdy or about any subject related to God, rather, we must find the Truth, otherwise we may misunderstand the Religion, distance ourselves from the Truth of God and lose our eternal identity and that is something which, by the Grace of God, can be avoided.

May Allah bless us with Truth-accepting hearts … and with pure love for Mahdi …
