Anniversary Of Lady Ma'soomah

In commemoration of Lady Fatima Masoomah's birth anniversary, it is noteworthy to mention that Lady Ma'soomah -sister of Imam Reza(PBUH)- is the only lady, next to lady Fatima -daughter of the Prophet- (PBUH), who has a special pilgrimage prayer written for her by an
infallible Imam. This pilgrimage prayer -narrated from Imam Reza (PBUH)- is an indication of her special greatness and status.

Lady Ma'soomah is buried in Qom and the pilgrimage prayer is recommended to be recited when visiting her burial site and also any time a person's heart feels close to her, this prayer can be recited from far distances but accepted as if it was recited in her Haram.

The following is a portion of this pilgrimage prayer:

... Salaam be upon you, O' daughter of waley of Allah;[daughter of the 7^th Imam]

Salaam be upon you, O' sister of waley of Allah;[sister of the 8^th Imam]

Salaam be upon you , O' aunt of waley of Allah;[aunt of the 9^th Imam]

... I implore Allah to show us [the
Shi'ah] your happiness and Faraj [Appearance of Imam Mahdy]; and to unite us with you
[Mohammad's descendants] in the assembled company of your forefather, Mohammad (peace be upon him and his progeny); and not to deprive us of your recognition and Ma'refah. Surely, He is the Lord, the Omnipotent... .
