The pilgrimage of Imam Reza (PBUH) -from far or near- is highly recommended on the 23^rd of Dhyl-Qa'dah. The celestial opportunity for going on pilgrimage of chosen-ones is a blessing which every Shi'ah -who loves Allah with all his heart and soul- implores Allah to bestow upon him. Many of us may live far away from the Harams of chosen ones -these earthly gateways to heavens-, but our hearts feel as close to them as being physically in their Houses and Harams. Where ever we are, we can close our eyes, open our hearts and go on pilgrimage of Allah's chosen ones. On this blessed day let us get our hearts ready for pilgrimage of Imam Reza (PBUH) from distances far away.

Following is the translation of parts of a special prayer which is recommended to be recited prior to entrance of the holy Harams and this prayer is known as “the permission to enter”:

O' Allah! I am standing by a gateway from the gateways of your Prophet (PBUH&HP); surely You have forbidden people from entering, unless with Your permission; You have said:”O' you who believe! Enter not, the Houses of the Prophet unless permission is granted to you.”; [Qur'an, Surah Ahzab, verse 53] O' Allah! I believe in the sanctity of the lord of this place of honor and Presence, in his absence, as well as I believe in it, in his presence;

I know that Your Prophet and Successors (PBUT)are alive, blessed and provided for, by You; [Qur'an, Surah Al-Emran, verse 169]

(I know that) they see me, hear me and return my Salaam;

Surely You have covered my physical ears from hearing their words, while You have opened the gateway of my understanding to the joy of intimate prayers and supplications ... .

Let us implore Allah to open the gateways of our hearts and understanding to the joy of profound spiritual relationships with Imam Mahdy (PBUH), while our physical eyes are covered from seeing our beloved lord and Imam ... .
