Surely, the Fridays of the month of Ramazan possess an excellence over the Fridays of the other months, just as the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) possesses an excellence over the other prophets.
-- Imam Baaqer (PBUH)

Blossomed,
a white Fatemi Jasmine, in the garden of Heavens;
Appeared,
a ray of Mohammadi hope, in the hearts of Believers.
Salaam
be upon you, O' Ali son of Moosa, A-Rreza.
Imam
Reda (PBUH) has said:
What
is better than patience and anticipation for Faraj [the ultimate
Relief on earth, the Appearance of Mahdi, the last of Mohammad's
AhlulBayt -PBUT-]?! Have you not heard the Saying of Allah -Mighty
and Majestic be He-: "and watch ye! For, I too am watching with
you!" [Qur'an 11:93], and "Then anticipate ye! For,
I too am with you of the anticipators!" [Qur'an 7:71]?
Thus upon you [I exhort earnestly] patience! For, surely Faraj
shall only come upon hopelessness! Certainly those before you, have
been more patient than you.

vol. 2, page 645; …)

The
eighth star of the glorious sky of Imamat -Imam Reza (PBUH)-
started to shine on earth, on the eleventh of Dhyl-Qa'dah year 153 A.H., in the
city of Medina. Imam Reza (PBUH) was taken against his will, to
Khoraasaan by Ma'moon, the Abbasi Calif of the time.
In the presence of Imam Reza
(PBUH) -in Khoraasaan- the title âQaa'emâ was mentioned, the
Imam rose on his feet and placed his hand on his head and said:
O'Allah! Hasten his Appearance and facilitate his Emergence.
In commemoration of Imam
Reza's (PBUH) birth anniversary, let us take one green moment and
ponder about this profound action of Imam Reza; he was the great
great grandfather of Mahdy (PBUH), yet he anticipated with all his
heart and soul, the Appearance of love's spirit and soul. How can
you and we -living under the dark and stormy sky of Disappearance-
not stare at the glorious horizon and anticipate the colorful
rainbow of honesty, Chastity, piety, purity, humanity, prosperity
and equity to appear on the blue sky of human dreams?!

We wish to offer our
warmest felicitations on the auspicious occasion of the birth
anniversary of the eighth Divine successor of the Prophet
Mohammad(PBUH&HP), Imam Reza (PBUH).The Sunnah (doings and
sayings) of the most perfect creation of God -Mohammad- has been
kept alive through his God-chosen infallible successors. One time
Imam Reza was traveling with a group of people. At the time of
eating, imam Reza sat at the same table with the poor, with the
servants, with the black and white. A man asked Imam Reza : would
it not be better if they sat on a different table? Imam Reza
replied:Absolutely not, We are all people of the same God, we are
all children of the same father and mother(Adam & Eve) and
rewards are based upon our deeds only (not based on social
status, nationality,color,race,...).
Mohammad and his progeny have originally taught
these valuable and everlasting lessons over one thousand years
ago. It is so sad that humankind has not yet grown to truly
comprehend these profound and eternal values.
