Fatima's Martyrdom

The last days of the most blessed life of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) were very hard on Lady Fatima (PBUH) who loved her father more than anything else in this world. The Prophet called her and told her that she would be the first one to join him in heavens; it is narrated that the Prophet told her that she would leave the world a few days after him. Those few days, in some narratives have been mentioned as seventy five days and in other narratives as 95 days. The difference seems to be because of the way the old Arabic was written; dots were not used in the old Arabic and the difference between the numbers seventy five and ninety five in Arabic, is only a few dots and their locations. In any case, the point is that Lady Fatima (PBUH) -beloved by her father and Allah- was the first one of Mohammad's progeny who joined the Prophet. Jamad-Ol-Awwal the thirteenth or Jamaady-O-ththaani the third, was when the Lady Fatima was martyred.

Many verses of Qur'an and Hadithes -narrated by both the Shi'ah and Sunni- verify that Lady Fatima (PBUH) was a chosen Lady. We have mentioned only a few of her virtues and celestial qualities in different segments of this site such as “On Wings of Angels, “Friday Messages”, “Articles” and ... . The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) clearly clarified the sanctity of the Lady Fatima (PBUH) during his life time. It is so sad that the unjust power-hungry forgot all those so soon; only a few days after the Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH&HP) demising, the sacred home of Lady Fatima and Ali (PBUT) -in the “Masjid-Ol-Nabi”- was violated, the front was set on fire and the Lady Fatima was brutally crushed between the door and the wall ... . In those days, there usually was along nail on the door inside the house which was perhaps used as some sort of a lock; when they slammed the door on Lady Fatima, that nail went through her body and came out of the other side ... .Allah only knows that whether the blood on that nail was the Lady Fatima's or her unborn child's ... . The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) had previously prophesied about the child she was carrying; The Prophet had said that it would be a boy and he had called him “Mohssen” ... . It was not only Mohssen who was aborted from the heavenly Lady; that day, humanity was aborted from the body of existence ... .

It is so scary how human turns into a wild animal when he truly forgets Allah and the Judgment Day -while pretending that he believes in God- and as the result, all he thinks about are money, power and worldly pleasures at any price! Today, we are unfortunately observing these abnormalities, growing day by day; Divine and human values and qualities have become scarce commodities .... . Let us truly strive and pray for Mahdy's Appearance when the colorful and beautiful rainbow of pity, chastity, honesty, purity, beauty , equity, humanity, ... shall appear in the blue sky of human dreams ... . That will be when the light of Allah shall blossom in the Lady Fatima's diamond of tears... .
