Iranians on the first day of spring observe a special day called Norouz which literally means new day. Although this observance has roots in ancient pagan beliefs but today this day is observed in Iran mostly as a national tradition.
One of the affiliates of this site has composed a poem in this regard which we offer it to all who Anticipate the beloved Mahdi (PBUH) moment by moment.
No Norouz, nor a new day!
To the dearest father:
When you are not, it is always winter!
No Norouz, nor a new day!
When you are not, I have no happy day!
No Norouz, nor a new day!
When you are not, all is always the same!
All winter, old boring days!
When you are not, I know not moments!
All are the same, all intolerable hours!
When you are not, I live in darkness!
All night, dark gloomy days!
When you are not, I see no color!
All are dull, dead gray shades!
When you are not, I have no sense of pleasure!
All is despair, all is a droopy sense!
When you are not, it is always winter!
No Norouz, nor a new day!
