Warning … Danger … Wake up!

Part 3

It is important to pay attention that before the flood at time of Prophet Noah (SBUH) Allah gave plenty of time to the people during which they were tested and eventually the True Believers were separated from hypocrites and disbelievers. ‘Ali son of Ibrahim Qummi, as stated in Tafsir Qummi vol. 1, has narrated from Imam Sadiq (SBUH) that the Prophet Nooh (SBUH)- who was very benevolent regarding his people and used to pray for them and cry for their sins- invited people to God for 300 years but no one believed so he finally decided to execrate them; but angels descended and asked him not to execrate, so Nooh (SBUH) gave them another 300 years during which he continued to invite people but again no one believed and they continued to mock the Prophet and his few followers and throw stones at them and … finally after 900 years:

Qur’an 11:36 And it was revealed unto Noah: ‘None of your people will believe except those who have already believed, so do not grieve as to what they used to do’.

Indeed Allah- the Compassionate, the Merciful- and His Prophet gave those people plenty of time … it was then that the Prophet Nooh (SBUH) execrated:

Qur’an 71: 26 And Noah said: "O Lord! Leave not one single disbeliever on the earth! 27 “Since if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants, and they will beget none but the wicked and the disbelieving.”

It seems that there also was a special and very hard test to put to proof those who were claiming to be the followers of Prophet Nooh (SBUH) …

In another Hadith it has been narrated from Imam Sadiq (SBUH) who stated that the believers (or as it is stated in the Hadith, the Shia) went to the Prophet and complained about all the harm they were facing from disbelieving people and rulers, and asked him to pray for relief … the Hojjat of Allah prayed and the angel Jibra’el descended and told him that his prayer was answered, and that Allah had said that he should tell the believers to eat the dates and then plant the seeds and wait for the palms to grow and bear fruit; the angel asserted that once they’d bear fruit, Allah would bestow Faraj (relief). The Prophet (SBUH) thanked Allah and gave the good news to the believers … the believers did so and once the palms bore fruit, they took the dates and went to the Prophet and requested the promised Faraj … Allah said that they had to eat the dates and again plant the seeds and once the palms would bear fruits it would be time for Faraj; a group of believers turned their backs and disbelieved and the rest obeyed and did what they were commanded …  this was repeated a few times and every time some believers disbelieved … at the end only a few of the believers remained … they went to the Prophet Nooh (SBUH) and told him that only a few of them had remained and that they were afraid that if Faraj was delayed much longer they might all disbelieve too, so Noah (SBUH) prayed and Allah SWT accepted his prayer and commanded them to build the ark … after 50 years the Flood happened … (Kamaal al-Deen, 133; …)

Qur’an 11:38 And he began making the Ark; and whenever the chiefs of his people passed by him they scoffed at him. He said: ‘If you scoff at us, we (too) shall surely scoff at you, as you scoff ’.

Qur’an 11:39 So you shall know soon to whom a Penalty (that) will confound him comes, and upon whom there shall fall a lasting Penalty.

So the disbelievers remained arrogant … hypocrisy of hypocrites was divulged … and the true Believers stayed with the Hojjat of Allah                                 …

Please in reading this and all writings of this site, keep the current world conditions in mind … we are to learn …

Anyhow … as we said in the previous part: “BUT IF HUMAN DECIDES TO IGNORE ALL WARNINGS, SURELY IT SHALL COME A DAY WHEN THE TIME IS OVER … THEN THERE IS NOTHING HUMAN CAN DO …”

But obviously before the time runs out … the All-Wise and Benevolent Allah has been giving time …

The true Believers have been trying to patiently and thankfully use the God-Given time- even the many many hard times and tests- to repent and obey Allah and His Chosen Authorities so that no matter what happens they Insha’Allah will not be sorry …

THE VERY IMPORTANT POINT IS THAT WE TOO DURING OCCULTATION (WHICH ITSELF IS A VERY HARD TEST) ARE GOING THRU MANY MANY HARD TESTS, MOCKERIES, SOCIAL PRESSURES, FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS, DISEASES, WORLDLY BENEFITS … AND THE HARDEST OF THEM ALL THE OCCULTATION ITSELF … BEFORE FARAJ … AND ONLY A FEW OF US MAY REMAIN FAITHFUL …

WARNING … DANGER … WAKE UP!

LET US PRAY IN THE HOLY NAMES OF MOHAMMAD AND HIS AHLULBAYT (SBUT) THAT WE MAY BE AMONG THOSE remaining faithful to the end …

The Amir al-Mo’menin (SBUH) has warned all of us regarding the great test of time:

So often are those who fall in the path of gradual perdition (Istidraj) by the favors bestowed to them, and those who become proud and self-centered by their faults being covered, and those who are enchanted by good things said about them; and Allah has not tested and put to the proof no one by anything like testing them with giving them time.

(Nahj al-Balaghah, Subhi Salih, Hekmat 116)

Let us pay careful attention that it is possible that human during the God-Given time, as the result of his own deeds, may be afflicted with Istidraj (gradual perdition); i.e. he may go astray but yet enjoy many worldly benefits … and this indeed is a big test too …

The worldly benefits may make human proud and he may think he is on the right path … or he may think he does not need to obey God any more … and eventually he may even deny God … and …

In other words human may be so afflicted with floods and storms and quakes … of disbelieving, polytheism, doubt, corruption, carnal desires and …, and God- as the result of human’s actions- may leave him to himself and to Shaitan, and even give him portions from this world … so that if he has done any good worldly deeds while disbelieving his reward is paid in the world and he will not have any claim in the Hereafter … and …

Non-stop temptations of Shaitan- to disbelieve, disobey … and to lie, cheat … and to kill in the name of God and religion … and …- have worked so much that gradually the followers of previous Prophets (SBUT) have either fully forsaken the Truth of the Religion of God and Wilayat of Anbiya and Awsiya and Mohammad and his AhlulBayt (SBUT) and have run away from religion all together … or have become followers of all kinds of distorted beliefs … or …

Here is an example of killing in the name of God; a satanic phenomenon occurring over and over all over the world by all who have deviated from the True Path of Prophets and their God-Chosen Successors (SBUT):

“....The Court says that you had neither shame nor horror of setting yourself against the Divine Majesty of the Holy Trinity, and so you have obstinately tried to infect the world with your stinking heretical poison. . . For these and other reasons desiring to purge the Church of God of such infection and cut off the rotten member . . . .we now, in writing, give final sentence and condemn you, Michael Servetus, to be bound and taken to the Chapel and there to be attached to a stake and burned with your book to ashes.  And so shall you finish your days and give example to others who would commit the like.”

Thus on the 26th October 1553CE, at the age of 42 years, Michael Servetus was executed as sentenced, with his book The Errors of Trinity tied to his waist …

Any how … Shaitan- during the God-Given time to the people of the Book- got closer to his goal of deviating humankind farther and farther away from the Straight Path … thus at time of the advent of Prophet of Islam almost no Light was left … so, while recognizing the very Last Prophet, they rejected him …

So gradually they freely obeyed Shaitan more and more and drowned in the flood of disbelief and disobedience and desires and … and thus God left them to themselves and in the great test of their given time, they have become ignorant and proud of their increasing worldly benefits bestowed upon them according to the tradition of Istidraj …

The Holy Qur’an asserts:

Qur’an 43:33 And were it not that mankind would have become of one community [of disbelievers], We would have provided for those who disbelieve, silver roofs for their houses and stairs whereby they ascend.

Qur’an 43:34 And for their houses, [silver] doors and thrones on which they could recline,

Qur’an 43:35 And adornments of gold. Yet all this have been nothing but an enjoyment of this world. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the Mottaqin (Allah-defined Pious).

Qur’an 43:36 And whosoever turns away blindly from the remembrance of the Most Gracious [Allah], We appoint for him a devil to be a companion to him.

Qur’an 43:37 And verily, they [devils] hinder them from the Path [of Allah], but they think that they are guided.

All this … so that the disbelievers and hypocrites may ever-remain drowned in the mirage of the belief of not needing God … due to their own arrogance and … and finally on the Judgment Day:

Qur’an 43:38 Until, when he comes to Us [at Judgement], he says [to his devil companion], "Oh, I wish there was between me and you the distance between the east and west - how wretched a companion."

Qur’an 43:39 [But it will be said unto him] “It will profit you not [the wish to turn away from devils, since] you did wrong [and] that you will be sharers [you and devils] the chastisement.

And:

Qur’an 17:18 Whoever should desire the immediate - We hasten for him from it what We will to whom We intend. Then We have made for him Hell, which he will [enter to] burn, censured and banished.

Qur’an 17:19 But whoever desires the Hereafter and exerts the effort due to it- WHILE HE IS A BELIEVER- it is those whose effort is ever appreciated.

Shaitan has been working hard for centuries to place the people of the Book in the path of being left to themselves … AH! How miserable and dreadful is being left to one’s self … LET US WAKE UP …

Let us explore an example of this in today’s world …
