At the end of part 3 of this writing we said:

Then we said that we were going to explore an example of this in today’s world, in order to see what happens when people turn their backs to the TRUTH of God and thus God leaves them to themselves … and this is only for this world, the Hereafter is another story all together:

Let us look at a few points regarding Sweden:

Although Reuters (U.S & International Business & Financial News agency) reports inequality in Sweden and states that in Sweden the rich is getting richer and the number of homeless Swedes are increasing, yet in general the statistics say that Sweden is one of the richest countries in Europe and people are well off.

Also in general it is usually thought that people who are very poor and with many problems may WRONGFULLY resort to kill themselves, but:

According to a 2011 article in The New York Times, "Numerous studies have shown that places like Denmark and Sweden that consistently score high on measures of happiness and life satisfaction also have relatively high suicide rates."

In 2018, a total of 1,259 people aged 15 or older died as a result of suicide in Sweden and many more committed suicide but did not die.

In 2018 8.83 liters of ‘pure’ alcohol consumption per person was reported in Sweden.

Let us look at a relatively new law which Sweden is quite proud of (as cited in the Wikipedia):

The laws on male and female pros titution in Sweden make it illegal to buy se x, BUT NOT TO SELL THE USE OF ONE’S OWN BODY FOR SUCH SERVICES … The criminalisation of the purchase of se x, but not the selling of one's own body for se x, was unique when first enacted in Sweden in 1999. Since then, this "Nordic model" for se x trade legislation has been adopted in several other nations.

Taxing the proceeds of pros titution has been recognised in Sweden since 1982 …

The report also acknowledged Internet (indoor) pros titution as an expanding market … which, in the last five years, has increased in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark …

Sweden's position on pros titution was re-affirmed: Those who defend pros titution argue that adults should have the RIGHT TO FREELY SELL AND FREELY PURCHASE SE X ...

Let us pay attention that male and female pros titution is looked upon as a human right issue: “Adults should have the RIGHT TO FREELY SELL AND FREELY PURCHASE SE X.”!!!

Let us also see what is being said regarding stress and depression in Sweden, a country in regard to which it is said that it “consistently scores high on measures of happiness”:

"Yes, it (stress) can be a triggering factor for getting depression or some kind of anxiety disorder, which then makes it appropriate to undergo drug treatment," explained Ylva Ginsberg, researcher at the Karolinska Institute's Department of Clinical Neuroscience.

And what about homo se xuality and …?

L  G  B  T rights in Sweden have been regarded as some of the most progressive in Europe and in the world.

Sweden has been recognized as one of the most socially liberal countries in Europe and in the world, with recent polls indicating that a large majority of Swedes support L  G  B  T rights and same se x marriage.

In Sweden same se x couples (les bians) have been helped with assisted reproduction with donated sp erm through public financing since 2005.

Now let us look at another Swedish honor:

Katharina Kehl and Sanna Strand, PhD students at the School of Global Studies, came second in this year’s International Studies Association’s (ISA) FTGS Graduate Student Paper Award. They will receive a certificate of commendation at the ISA conference in Toronto next year.  

In their paper “A country to fall in love with/in”: gender and se xuality in Swedish Armed Forces’ marketing campaigns, Sanna Strand and Katharina Kehl analyse how the Swedish Armed Forces portray gender and se xuality in their advertising campaigns. 

“More specifically, we were interested in understanding how gender and se xuality are mobilized or used to strengthen the Swedish Armed Forces brand, with the aim to both attract potential recruits and gain trust among the rest of the population,” say Sanna Strand and Katharina Kehl. 

“It is important that the Swedish Armed Forces in different ways make the L  G  B  T soldier and the L  G  B  T citizen visible. Such visibility can contribute to make a traditionally hyper-masculine and heteronormative institution more inclusive and signal that discrimination on the basis of se xual orientation is not accepted neither within the Swedish Armed Forces nor by Swedish law,” say Sanna Strand and Katharina Kehl.

AH! It is no wonder:

Sweden has the second-highest number of non-religious people as a percentage of its population of any country in the world, according to a 2015 survey by Gallup International and the WI Network of Market Research.

The study found that 76 percent of Swedish respondents said they were either “not religious” or a “convinced atheists”.
