Introducing the collection

“Kalimah al-Imam al-Mahdi al-Hujjat ibn al-Hassan al-‘Askari (SBUT)”- whose first volume is before you- is a collection of the statements of the Promised Savior, Hazrat Baqiyatullah al-A’zam (ATFS) which have been issued, written or orally, in the form of letters and writings and advices and guidances and also that Hazrat himself stated its title and recommended its publication, and now on the occasion of the one thousand and one hundred and eighty seventh glorious birth anniversary of that beloved of hearts, this work is being presented to researchers and interested ones. This work, with respect to comprehensiveness and detail and research particularities- to which, in the forthcoming lines, more explanations will be allocated- is an exemplary collection, taken from many available Islamic Hadith collections and sources, and up to now, in respect of quality and quantity, is unique.

The first nucleus of this work was compiled in Arabic by the endeavors of the striving scholar Shahid Ayatullah Sayyid Hassan Shirazi (May Allah be Pleased with him) and throughout many years, over a third of a century, it has been corrected and arranged and verified and annotated and completed and translated to Farsi. In order to preserve the trend of the collection and to have Arabic and Persian texts, the texts taken from Persian sources have been translated to Arabic too.

This collection comprises seven volumes with the following subjects:

1-Introductions and list of contents

2-Tawqi’at and written communications

3-Prayers and pilgrimage supplications

4-Meetings and Tasharrufat (1)

5- Meetings and Tasharrufat (2)

6-Messages and dreams

7-Future Appearance statements

In the beginning of five volumes of this collection, for the more familiarization of readers with the subject and contents of each volume, articles have been compiled by the corrector-researcher and have appeared in the following order:

1-Royal signature (a prelude on the second volume)

2-Prayer, the elixir of servitude (a prelude on the third volume)

3-Eagerness of meeting (a prelude on the fourth volume)

4-Message of kindness (a prelude on the sixth volume)

5-Vanguards (a prelude on the seventh volume)
