Part 5

5-The sixth volume (Messages and dreams) comprises the Imam of the Age (SBUH)’s benevolences and inferior-fosterings which, in the form of messages and true dreams, have been sent and inspired. A selection of Mahdawi guidances, during sleep and wakefulness, are as follows:

Stating the reasons for Divine Prophets being humans, confirming Mahdawi ambassadors and deputies, sending a message of a prayer for a Believer to have a child, commanding to return to hometown, sending money and medicine for the Shi’a, giving the good news of going to Hajj and returning safely, commanding to separate other’s wealth from one’s wealth and returning them to their rightful owners, informing Nuwwabs and some deputies from the year, month and day of their deaths, praying for the Shi’a, reminding to observe Taqiyah, showing the path of finding doctrinal Ma’arif, guiding scholars for removal of sadness, confirming Ziyara Jami’a and Sahifah al-Sajjadiyah, coming true of certain promises, healing sick persons during sleep and promising them health and long life, knowing the inner secrets of others, guiding in jurisprudential precepts, reproaching those harming pilgrims, helping to pay debts, giving the good news of elimination of difficulties, enormity of AhlulBayt (SBUT)’s afflictions, misery of the afflictions of the Prophet’s daughter, shining the light of hope in the hearts of the Shi’a, commanding the writing of a book in benefits of praying, finishing the poem of a poet loving the ‘Itrat …

All these redressing and guidance, in wakefulness and sleep, are the clear signs of the benefits of the existence of that ultimate love who has not neglected, not even for a second, to care for, guide and eliminate hardships of followers, and he shall never do.

6-The seventh volume (Future Appearance statements) comprises the prophecies of the Infallible Leaders (SBUT) regarding the statements of their offspring, the Promised Savior, in the Appearance Era, and that beloved’s commands and actions.

Years before the beginning of the Occultation and centuries before the Appearance, the noble fathers of the Imam of the Age (ATFS), relying upon their Allah-Bestowed Knowledge and their lofty Position, have observed the incomparable days of the Mahdawi established Justice so precisely that as if they were present at that time and observed the details with their own eyes and heard the precious words of that gracious Imam with their own ears too. Statements such as: “As if I see” in Hadiths indicates those Holy personages’ perceiving of the Appearance Era and indeed no one but them had the ability of such prophecies and no one ever will.

A look, although brief, and a fast review of the future Appearance statements, show that the foreseeing eyes of the true Imams have, so beautifully and precisely, observed and depicted the events of the Occultation Era:

The Holy Prophet (SBUH & HP) has asserted:

“Mahdi will establish my Religion and Shari’a among people and will reveal my invitation, and will call to the Book of Allah, the Undefeated and Glorified, he shall judge based on the Lord’s Justice and Judgment, and will command Justice. Allah, at his hand, will cause the earth to thrive by Tasbih (Glorification of Allah …), Tahlil (Praising Allah …), Taqdis (Sanctification of Allah …) and Takbir (Veneration of Allah …) …”

In a Sunni source it has been narrated from the Messenger of Allah:

“I give you the good news of Mahdi’s coming. He will come after disagreements among people and after earthquakes … and he will fill the earth with justice and equity after being filled with injustice and inequity. He will divide wealth equally among people … At time of Mahdi my Ummah will enjoy many blessings and wealth will have no value.”

Amir al-Mu’menin (SBUH):

“Mahdi will be bound to Allah’s Halal and Haram and that which he will say is the Truth. It is as if I see my son in the way of Wadi al-Salam to Masjid of Sahlah …”

In Sunni sources it has been narrated from the Lord of the Pious (SBUH):

“Mahdi in character and habitude and in niceness and goodness is the most similar to the Messenger of Allah (SBUH & HP) … the Prophet counted his companions for me: 313 as the number of companions of (the battle of) Badr, in less time it takes to blink an eye, Allah shall gather them next to Ka’bah from the east and the west of the earth … he will tell his companions: Pledge allegiance to me in forty promises … he shall send his commanders to other cities with the mission of justice among people. Wolves and sheep will feed in one place, and children, without being harmed, will play with snakes and scorpions. Badness will go away and goodness will remain … usury (in trade) and unchasteness and drinking and showing off (in good deeds) will move away … lives will be long and holding in trust and safekeeping will prevail. Trees will be fruitful and abundance will be twice as much … anyone holding a grudge against the Progeny of the Prophet shall not remain.”

Imam Baqir (SBUH):

“Mahdi shall give news from his Lord and remind His Belief. He will enjoin to goodness and forbid badness. It is as if I see him leaning against the Hajar (al-Aswad) and requesting his Right from Allah; he will cling to the curtain of Ka’ba and say: O Allah! Assist me! The first one pledging allegiance to him shall be Jabra’il, then in the gathering of his special companions, he shall introduce himself this way: “I am the Baqiyatullah and His Caliph and Hujjat among you.” The three hundred and thirteen companions will pledge their allegiance. Then he shall invite people to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet (SBUH & HP) and the Wilayat of ‘Ali son of AbiTalib (SBUT) and abhorrence of his enemies. …”

Imam Sadiq (SBUH):

“Mahdi shall perform two Rak’ats of Salah before the Maqam of Ibrahim (SBUH) … he shall raise his hands toward heavens and pray and implore Allah … he shall open the Flag of the Messenger of Allah (SBUH & HP). At that time the angels of Badr will descend to serve him. By Allah’s Command, he will enjoin and judge as Dawud and Solayman (SBUT) and for that he will not ask for witness and shall not need a reason … anew, he will call people to Islam and shall judge among people like the Prophet (SBUH & HP) …”

Other instances of the words and actions of the Promised of all creeds, in Sunni sources, have been narrated in this manner:

“Hazrat ‘Eisa (Jesus, SBUH) shall descend from heavens to the eastern gates of Damascus. He shall renounce the jews and christians who will claim to help him and he will go to the place of gathering of Muslims and will see that they’ll be praying with their Imam That Hazrat shall tell ‘Eisa son of Maryam: “O Messiah of Allah! Perform Salah for us.” Messiah shall answer: “No, you come ahead (and stand in front) so that we perform Salah with you. Then he (Jesus) shall Iqtida to (follow the lead of) Hazrat Mahdi and perform Salah and pledge allegiance to him … among the adherents to Torah, Mahdi shall judge based on their Torah and among the adherents to Injil, he shall judge based on their Injil … Mahdi’s Salaam after Appearance, shall return spirits to those sleeping in the Cave …”

Reading the Divine Book in the way it was sent to the Messenger of Allah (SBUH & HP), calling Allah with Hebrew name, inviting others to Islam, avenging the blood of Imam Hussain (SBUH), introducing the thieves of Ka’ba, executing justice in the Hajj ceremony, and speaking to the Shi’a from a far distance are of the topics in the seventh volume which can be referred to.

It must be known that the future Appearance statements can not be the definite basis for knowing Imam Zaman (SBUH), and in the same manner that the Signs of Appearance, even those labeled as definite, are of matters regarding which the possibility of change exist and the Hands of Allah are open for allowing the Savior to Appear without any of these Signs and for signing the matter of Appearance in one night, in the prophesied words too changes may occur or they may not happen at all.

So many signs of Divine Power and Knowledge will become manifest from that beloved Mawla that there will be no room left for comparing prophecies with his actual self. Imam Sadiq (SBUH) looked at a ray of sun shining in the porch and told Mufazzal- who was anxious for knowing Imam Mahdi (SBUH) and thus asked: What should we do?-: “O Mufazzal! Do you see this sunlight? … Our matter is clearer than this sunlight.”

At the end of this volume, certain Mustadraks from Sunni sources in the two topics: “Meetings and Tasharrufat” and “Future of Appearance statements” have been stated.

Studying the seven volume Mawsu’ah, Words of Imam Mahdi, Hujjat son of ‘Askari (Salaam Be Upon Them, SBUT), is a documented source for getting to know the Universal Administrator of Justice, Hazrat Baqiyatullah al-A’zam (May our souls be sacrificed for him) and the everlasting heritage of Mahdawi Words; that Hazrat is a loving Imam and a Celestial and Divine Leader who through the Power delegated to and bestowed upon him by the Omnipotent Creator, is affluent, and for making himself known, he has proofs and manifestations of power which are quite distinguishable for the Ummah and clearly show his Rightfulness. He has in his possession the ‘Alawi Mushaf (the original Qur’an gathered by Hazrat ‘Ali (SBUH)) and the Prophets’ Entrustments. His blessed being, just like the Karim Qur’an, is unparalleled and challengeable whom no one has the ability to confront and replace. He is aware of inner thoughts and without the need for proofs and hujjats he shall judge like Dawud and Solayman (SBUT), and will reveal concealed truths and inner secrets. By Divine Permission, everything shall be in the realm of his will and control so that no doubt shall remain in his recognition. He is the Firm Divine Handle and Rope extending from heavens to the earth, and no error and cruelty shall he commit. In the shadow of his existence twenty five parts from the twenty seven parts of Knowledge shall be presented and his blessed hands on heads shall perfect intellects. He will reveal the True Islam and bestow honor and will establish the True Monotheism all over the world and all governments and nations will obey and submit to him. Prophets will help and by the Light of his existence, the earth shall be luminous and his Kingdom shall cover east and west of the world. By his will, earth and sky, land and sea, will present their reserves and blessings, and abundance and equality will prevail all over the earth. He is “Spring of Peoples” and “Green Freshness of Eras”. The Ma’arif that will emerge from his Holiness is the indication of his Mahdawiyat. Yes, he is the rectifier of all disorders and the healer of all pains and by Allah’s Will he shall change all oppression and injustice in the world to equity and justice.

O Allah! By him, fill the earth with justice and equity as it has been filled with oppression and injustice.
